LPU offers many courses related to Pharmacy. The Pharmacy council approves the School of Pharmaceutical science (LPU) of India. Ranked among Top 30 Pharmacy colleges in India by NIRF. Various programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences are designed to impart in-depth knowledge to prepare outstanding scientists to meet the health care needs of diverse populations by dissemination of knowledge through discovery, development, and evaluation of drugs and their delivery systems leading to safe and effective drug use. The department has animal house which is approved by CPCSEA (Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals).
Regular Industry Interaction is ensured through guest lectures and live industry projects. Eminent people from academia and industry are regular visitors to share their expertise. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with a Pharmaceutical Industry for technology transfer on Targeted Release of Microsphere of 5-FU. After this MOU the path for commercialization of LPU’s indigenously developed technology at International level have been cleared.
